Faisal
Salhab, the Saudi amateur player, broke the record of the Riyadh Golf Club
during the Saudi Open 2021 competitions on Friday.
Salhab
grabbed the lead after achieving the best result in the stadium's history with
66 strikes, 6 strikes below par.
On the
other hand, Bahraini Yousef Jahani, who topped the competitions on Thursday,
slipped to fourth place, to be replaced by Faisal Salhab in the lead, one
strike ahead of Saudi Othman Al Mulla, who finished second, after he finished
the second round with a score of 67 strokes (5 strokes below par).
The
conclusion of the championship competitions on Saturday is expected to witness
an unparalleled excitement, as the participants are looking for progress in the
ranking in light of the convergence of results, while the Saudis, Faisal Salhab
and Othman Al-Mulla, are looking to maintain their positions in the standings,
to ensure qualification for participation in the Saudi International
Championship competitions that will be held. Between the 3rd and 6th of
