On the other hand, Michael Massy, Director of Formula 1 Racing
and Safety Commissioner, inspected the readiness of the Jeddah Corniche circuit

Massey expressed a positive impression of the new
circuit, saying: "It was an amazing journey for everyone involved in
making the first race of the Formula 1 Saudi Grand Prix a reality, and in my

He added, "The circuit has been completed and
reached the highest levels that correspond to the assessment "A" of
the International Automobile Federation, which is the criterion that entitles
it to host the Grand Prix, where the Jeddah Corniche circuit will provide a new
challenge for drivers and teams."
