The
Institute for Leadership Development, affiliated with the Ministry of Sports,
offered 250 courses in all sports fields during 2021, serving the sports sector
fully and diversified, in 23 different cities, to cover all regions of Saudi
Arabia completely.
The
beneficiaries totaled about 8,808 members, who received support from the
Institute, by fully adopting them and teaching them the various skills required
in the sports labor market, with 6,067 men and 2,741 women.
And
8,808 Saudi citizens benefited from 250 training courses for the Leadership
Development Institute in 2021, with 230 lecturers and 221 attendance programs
benefiting about 3,669 people.
There were also 29 remote programs that benefited
5139 people.
The
courses included 42 training courses in foundational programs, 87 training
courses in administrative programs, 6 training courses in community programs,
87 training courses in specialized programs, and 28 in sports medicine.
In
the past year, the Institute offered 5 various study programs, such as the
Master’s Program in Sports Management, which was held at the Spanish ISDE
University via distance, in January 2021 for a period of one year, and the
Diploma in Sports Marketing and Investment Management from a distance, which
was organized by the Institute with the College of Sports Sciences and Physical
Activity at King Saud University, In August 2021 for a year, the Executive
Diploma in Sports Management from the Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, from
October 2021 to May 2022, the Higher Diploma in Sports Management in
cooperation with the University of London and the World Academy of Distance
Sports, in September 2021 for a period of one year, and the Executive
Leadership Program In cooperation with Harvard University for Basic Distance
Education, from January to May 2021.
