Boss is back as a
champion.. the world is waiting for the big race
Veteran Australian jockey, Glenn Boss, put an end to a
37-year career in the best possible way, when he won first place in the STC
International Knights Challenge in the third edition of the Saudi Cup 2022,
which kicked off yesterday at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.
The 53-year-old Australian boss beat 6 jockeys and 7
jockeys in the STC International Challenge, on the horse "Raed" owned
by Fahad Al-Otaibi. Boss, whose record is replete with great achievements,
including three Melbourne Cups through the mare "Makebi Diva", did
not have in mind new challenges on the equestrian track after he decided to get
off and switch to managing equestrian races, but a phone call came to him from
Riyadh, the Saudi capital, after his retirement One day, he completely changed
his plans, so that the Saudi Cup would be the last for him in his sports
career. Today, the same field witnesses the launch of the Saudi Cup, where the
