A Saudi-European
forum to discuss investment opportunities in camels
Seven companies from Belgium and Luxembourg
specializing in health, events and horses present their investment capabilities
and opportunities with the International Camel Organization and the Camel Club
through a forum that includes Saudi businessmen, members of the Chambers of
Commerce, and local camel owners, organized by the Camel Club.
The European-Saudi Trade Forum for investors in the camel
sector, which will be launched on Monday, will discuss options for work,
cooperation, project creation and exchange of experiences within the framework
of the official economic and trade mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
organized by the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Fahd bin Hethlin, Chairman of the Board of Directors
of the Camel Club and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International
Camel Organization, explained that the camel sector is growing rapidly and achieving
turnout rates in conjunction with the regulations and legislation enacted by
the club in the areas of breed documentation, name ownership, species safety,
and veterinary.
He pointed out that the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival
achieved popularity with the participation of more than two thousand camel
owners, and it increased the buying and selling processes by about 30 percent
over previous years, and fulfilled the desires of camel owners to compete and
win huge prizes amounting to 250 million riyals annually.
The investment doors vary between training, marketing,
building amateur academies, education and the formation of international
breeds. A group of Saudi businessmen will be able to view the climates of
partnerships, establish incubators based on local content in the camel sector,
and increase European expertise in the field of establishing horse centers and
the equestrian sports economy.
European companies will offer their expertise in
developing existing networks, creating new links between stakeholders, creating
a channel through which to intensify marketing and enhance special skills, and
obtain support in key stages from research and development to marketing, both
nationally and internationally.
The European conglomerate will provide a complete device
to allow the use of a whole-body CT scanner for large animals, especially for
horses or camels, a complete device that compulsorily works with the CT scanner
and stem cell technology.
In the field of bioenergy, the study, discovery and
correction of energy in living systems will present ideas, networks and skills
to guide customers in brands, while the European side of the entertainment
field will present a comprehensive approach from strategy to event management
to operations and production.
The forum aims to develop partnerships between the
Belgian and Saudi private sectors in various activities related to camels,
which will be reflected in the development of the sector.
