American Ja Morant set a record for the Memphis
Grizzlies, scoring 52 points to lead them to a 118-105 victory over the San
Antonio Spurs in the NBA.
Morant's amazing performance came two days after he
reached a record for his team in the preliminary round of the competition by
scoring 46 points.
Morant's previous best score was 47 points.
The Grizzlies deprived Spurs coach Greg Popovich of
equaling Don Nelson's record number of wins in the preliminary round of the
competition, which is 1,335.
