The "Saudi
Quartet" to the finals of the "100 and 400" race
4 Saudi runners succeeded in reaching the finals of
different sprints, on Monday, in the third Gulf Games hosted by Kuwait, until
May 31.
Abdullah Abkar qualified for the 100-meter sprint
final, after winning the first place in a time of 10.28 seconds in the
semi-finals, and Mohamed Daoud, a colleague in the national team, joined
earlier to the final of the same competition by taking first place in 10.34
seconds.
For his part, Mazen Al-Yassin finished third, and was
able to go to the 400-meter final in 47.15 seconds. Youssef Masrahi also
qualified for the 400-meter final after he finished fourth in his group in
48.80 seconds.
