8 teams qualify for the Arab Futsal Cup quarter-finals
The teams of Morocco, Kuwait, Mauritania, Egypt, Iraq,
Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Libya qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab
Futsal Cup 2022, which is organized by the Arab Football Association and will
be held at the Ministry of Sports Hall in Dammam, from 20 to 28 June.
At the level of Group A, the Moroccan team defeated
Mauritania 13-0, while the Kuwait team defeated Somalia 9-2. According to these
results, the Moroccan team ranked first in the group with 9 points, followed by
the Kuwait team with 6 points, then The Mauritanian team collected 3 points,
then the Somali team ranked fourth without credit.
In the second group, Egypt beat Algeria 2-0, to raise
its score to 4 points at the top of the standings, followed by Iraq with the
same balance, and then the Algerian team without points.
In the third group, the Saudi team beat the Libyan
team 5-3, at the end of the group stage competitions, so according to this
result, the Saudi team topped the standings of its group, followed by the
Palestine and Libya teams with 3 points each.
It is noteworthy that the coaches of the teams
qualified for the quarter-finals will hold press conferences on Thursday
evening, in preparation for the quarter-final matches scheduled to be held on
Friday.
