The gymnastics green continues its preparations before the Asian
On Wednesday, the first Saudi gymnastics team
continued its preparations at its internal camp in the Eastern Province, in
preparation for participating in the Asian Championship to be organized in the
Qatari capital, Doha, next week.
The Saudi Green delegation participating in the
continental championship included Ali Al-Mubarik, Habib Al-Sweileh, Abdulaziz
Al-Juhani, Jaafar Al-Sayegh, and Nasser Al-Sumairi, led by coaches Muhammad bin
Jalul and Makki Al-Mubarik.
The Qatari capital will host the Asian Championship
from June 13 to 18 this month, with the participation of more than 137 male and
female players from 21 countries.
For his part, Rakan Al-Fuhaid, Executive Director of
the Saudi Gymnastics Federation, confirmed Al-Akhdar's readiness to compete in
the continental competition, saying: "We have great confidence in
Al-Akhdar's stars, in achieving honorable results, reflecting the great support
that the sport enjoys from the Saudi leadership."
