Ways to increase physical activity


The ways to increase physical activity are as follows:

1/ Setting goals

Before any activity we want to adopt for a long time we must think carefully and decide what goals we want to achieve?

When there is a clear goal in front of our eyes, the motivation for training increases and the process of perseverance is facilitated.

It is important to set short-term and long-term goals.

2/ Choose recreational exercises

The choice should revolve around an activity that is enjoyable for us, and this will help us to last for a long time, as it is not necessary to do hard training for two hours, but rather moderate physical activity on a daily basis for at least 30 minutes can be satisfied.

3/ Advance planning and commitment to the process

On the days when we are very busy, physical activity is the last thing we include in our daily schedule, however we have to incorporate it as one of the special interests that we carry out on this day and it is important to determine in advance the days and hours dedicated to physical activity.

4/ Take into account the physical and mental aspect

It is important to choose activities that attract us and give us psychological and physical pleasure, as:

The mental aspect is about enjoyment, satisfaction, feeling better and progressing over time.

And the physical aspect that causes an increase in the secretion of endorphins that help relieve pain and improve mood.

5/ Focus on matching expectations with reality

It is important to understand that muscle training takes a long time to see tangible results from it, and here you should not complain as reality should live up to expectations.

6/ Starting at an early age

It is important to start and maintain sports activity from an early age, and turn it into a part of our lives. Exercising can be started at any stage of our lives, but it is important that the sports activity be appropriate for the age, and the physical limitations of the trainee.

7/ Understand physical activity

Physical activity is not a vague term that is hard to come by, it is more within our reach than we think, as we can become vital people when we follow a healthy and quality lifestyle, by making small changes in daily life, nutrition and physical activity.

8/ Gradual exercise

The beginning of sports activity after a period of inactivity should be gradual and moderate, and it is important not to overburden the body and allow it to get used to the activity.

9/ Accompany a support person

It is recommended that the training be conducted with a friend or in a fixed group setting, in order to create commitment and interest in the sporting activity.

10/ Choosing the right one

In general, in order to continue the sporting activity, it must be compatible with our physical capabilities.
