Green Halls launches the Asian journey
Today, the first Saudi national futsal team opens its
participation in the fourth West Asian Federation Championship for men, which
will be hosted by Kuwait during the period from 4 to 13 June, with the
participation of 8 teams.
In its first match, the Green of Futsal will face its
Palestinian counterpart, at 4:00 pm, in the Kuwaiti Al-Nasr Club Hall. The
Saudi team finished its preparations for the match with a training session,
which was carried out in the Kuwaiti club Kazma hall, and was led by the
Spanish coach, Andrew Plaza, during which he drew up the plan that he will
adopt in the confrontation, and implemented it through a maneuver that took
place over the entire area of the stadium. On the other hand, the organizing
committee of the tournament held a meeting with all the representatives of the
teams, in which the mechanism for deciding the title, the conditions,
regulations and instructions of the tournament, in addition to specifying the
colors of the teams’ teams in all matches, were clarified. Meanwhile, Plaza
explained, in the press conference held in the conference hall of the Kuwait
Football Association, that the Palestinian team is very strong, and Al-Akhdar had
previously played against it in the last West Asian qualifiers, and won it with
difficulty, stressing that they respect all the teams participating in the
tournament.
